From Yokohama ISA Congress, to Tokyo

If you visit University of York Sociology Department's blog, you can read a short piece from me and Alex Simpson about our visit to the ISA Congress in Yokohama, Japan that I've also written about on Largely Hokum here. After we finished our week in Yokohama I was lucky enough to spend a few days in Tokyo. The two aren't far apart, and it was absolutely worth the visit.

I would the city is probably one of the most efficient engaging and exhausting that I've ever visited - - and possibly my favourite so far.

These are a few pictures from my few days there between the Yokohama conference and homeward flight to York.
